Sabira was born in Kabul but spent her childhood as a refugee in Pakistan. She wants to be a politician, and she wants to travel so she can understand why, as she says, “other women are important and Afghan women are not.”

Sabira, Afghan women ARE important! You ARE the bravest women I have even seen! You live in such a tough environment! You are mothers, sisters, wives, friends, daughters ….. you ARE WINNERS!!! Never EVER think that you are not important. The ones who say or think you are not important are blinded by ignorance. Dont let ignorance steals from you your self pride. Be proud of who you are always, no matter what. Never ever let anybody underestimate you. Be proud of being a woman! You are powerful, believe me, you ARE!!
