walking near mountains

Don’t take my soul away.
I have to walk, I have to stand

Don’t take my breath away,
Don’t make me weak
Over my sorrows.

We can achieve togetherness.
Don’t call me closer. I am scared

To get used to a shadow —
Only a shadow which is mine —
And have none with whom to talk.

I am scared . . .
I have a voice
Which is lost in this silence.

Loneliness, don’t take my breath away.
I still have things unsaid to the world.
I am still witness to my sorrows.
