Black is the shadow of fear,
when I see no light.
Black is when I cry, my eyes full of tears,
It is the sound of words that betray me.
Black is the sound of bullets,
the rain of blood,
the heart with no humanity,
when I can’t reach my beloved.
It is black when he dies in my arms.
Black is when you know you’re right but can’t prove it.
Black is when you see but claim to be blind,
when you hear but claim to be deaf.
Black is when you want to say something, but don’t.
Black is when it is black all around you.
