Your sadness is my sadness
Your loss is my loss
Your pain is my pain
Your children are our children, our sons and daughters
We don’t want to lose our people anymore
We don’t want to cry for our children
We don’t want to have regrets for our young
We don’t want to witness such happenings again
We don’t want our people to see such horror again
We don’t want our people to lose their loved ones for the benefit of others
We don’t want our people to be victims for doing nothing
We don’t want to lose, sacrifice, and have regrets for our young
We all want peace, security, and solidarity
Peace brings happiness and unity
Peace keeps us far from risk and losing
Peace unites us
We are all human; our sorrow, sadness, and grief are the same
No matter from which country or continent
No matter which region
We have the same happiness, enjoyment, sorrow, and grief
Your sadness is my sadness
Your loss is my loss
Your pain is my pain
Your children are our children, our sons and daughters

Yes. Yes, yes, yes and yes. Especially: “We are all human; our sorrow, sadness, and grief are the same.” Thank you for writing this and helping us with our grief. Stacy
You suffer. The world suffers. Thank you for your self-compassion and your compassion for the world.
If only more people would read this poem, the world would be a better place.
Asthma — The beginning of your poem made me cry remembering. “Your sadness is my sadness, Your loss is my loss, Your pain is my pain, Your children are our children, our sons and daughters.” I agree with every word in your poem. We grieve for this great tragedy but few of us have put those feelings down on paper as you have. Thank you for doing that — for speaking for us all. Nancy
