To the blind ears
I write
I don’t care
If you don’t read it
Or you turn your back
Or I stay forgotten in the exile
I write
For the hearts which beat
For humans who still breathe
I still believe the way to bring “change”
Is not long, like my brown hairs
I have seen so much pain
There is a world of insults hidden under my burqa
Everyone that could, beat me
For I am a woman

I still believe the world is not empty of kind men
Although I cannot forget the day
When you watched me, beaten, holes in my head
Holes in my heart
You were watching me, with your eyes open
I couldn’t close mine, to scream, to call for help
You made me think
The world is empty of kindness
Empty of sympathy
Empty of humanity
Empty of God

But I write
I scream with the words from the lips of my pen
I try to be awakened
And not die in silence,
Not screaming
I write
To the blind ears
I write
I don’t care
If you don’t read it
I write for my son
To teach him
Change and freedom are worth fighting for.
