You were the person who always held my shoulders like a pillow
And found my hands to weep your tears
Tamana has loved writing in Dari since she was a child. She attends high school joined AWWP so she can write about Afghan women and their bravery. She says, ”I can be not just a Dari writer but an English writer as well.”
I woke up one morning
with a happy feeling.
I woke up happy to go to school.
