Hello and thank you for sharing your photos! The blue of the sky and water is really pretty and I was struck by the huge mountains so close to you. The photos as well as the writings of all you courageous women are so important – keep them coming please!
How nice it is to view pictures of your country. I look forward to seeing more. Remember that this woman from California is thinking about all of you. Sincerely, Roberta

Every day I learn about traditions and more with them. Is the best gift that I can have as medical and psychosocial worker because is not the same to read about that… you can see the reality and remove from your mind all foreign concepts.

Thank you so much for sharing it.
The contrast between urban near-disorder and the great beauty of the Hindu Kush mountains; fields tilled and cared for; singing lessons announced; cars, ever dominant. And a sense of aesthetics in the brightly painted walls of the homes on the slopes of Gozargha, it´s beautiful bridge awaiting the winter waters. Thankyou.
Congratulations! It’s really inspiring to read your stories. I am historian and for some years now I have been working with research through life stories of commom people who have lived a certain period in History, I also work in a institution that takes care of the preservation of cultural heritages. You are an example of courage and strength! You are all very precious! By writing and showing these images to people all over the world you are awakening sensitivities, breaking stereotypes. More them that, you are making history, a beautiful history of resistance and fight! I am sure your words and images are also reaching other afghan women who need this inspiration to keep on going, to keep on resisting and looking for ways to fight for their freedom. Never give up! You are doing an amazing thing!
I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t see until *today* that there were photos up on the site! What a great new dimension. Loved clicking through them very much.
